Impressions (Vaikutelmia)

Impression is a 15-minute-long painting of movement and sound. Pianist Juan Pablo Muñoz Bulla interprets Claude Debussy's three pieces: La Cathédrale Engloutie, La fille aux cheveux de lin and Feux d'artifice. Dancer Virva Torkko-Muñoz shows her own impression of the pianist's playing and gets inspired by the backgrounds of Debussy's pieces and the surrounding environment. The interpretation of music and movement forms a weave of impressions.

 

The event is part of Our Kuopio - festival.

 

In the case of heavy rain, the event will be moved to another date.
